In detail

The Everyday Leash is a flat strap of smooth coated webbing with a loop handle at one end and a metal snap hook at the other. Nothing to fiddle with on the first walk of the morning, half awake, keys in the other hand.

Clip the snap hook to the D-ring on the back of the harness, slide your hand through the loop and let the leash hang in an easy, slack curve. After a walk through wet grass, it wipes clean with a damp cloth.

It comes in the same 11 colors as our harness, collar and bag holder, from Poppy to Navy. Match them or mix them: each one is sold on its own, at its own price.

Read before the first walk

Safety

Clip the leash to the D-ring on the back of the harness, and check that the snap hook is closed before every walk.
Hold the loop handle. Never wrap the leash around your hand, wrist or fingers.
Keep it short near roads, driveways, doors and other dogs.
Check the snap hook and the end of the strap before each walk, and stop using the leash if the hook sticks or the strap is cracked, frayed or torn.
Never tie your dog up with the leash or use it on a tie-out or a zip line, never lift your dog by it, and never leave your dog alone with the leash on.
It is not a chew toy: take a chewed leash away, and call your veterinarian if your dog swallows a piece.
On hot days, walk in the cool hours and keep to the shade: pavement too hot for the back of your hand is too hot for paws.

How long is it?

Can I clip it to the collar?

For walks, clip it to the D-ring on the back of the harness, never to the collar.

Where does the Bag Holder go?

Hang it from the loop handle with its cord loop. The next bag waits in the window, right where your hand is.

How do shipping and returns work?

Shipping is included in the price; there is no separate delivery charge. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days, then take 7 to 12 business days in transit, so allow about 8 to 15 business days from order confirmation. We deliver to the 50 US states and Washington, D.C. Import duties and customs fees are paid by us. If a carrier ever asks you for any, contact us and we will cover it in full. Unused items in their original condition and packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. You can try a harness or a collar on your dog indoors to check the size: if it is clean, undamaged and has never been worn outside, it still counts as unused. Opened rolls of bags cannot be returned. A product that arrives defective, damaged or wrong, or shows a defect within those 30 days, is replaced or refunded, even if it has been used. Return shipping for a change of mind is paid by the customer; we send the return address by e-mail, and it may be outside the United States. For a defective, damaged or wrong item, we pay it. You can cancel at no charge until your order ships.
