Cookie Policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the SANPO website. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
On this page
The short version
- We place no cookies of our own, and no advertising or analytics cookies are placed on our pages.
- We use no analytics, no tracking pixels and no session recording, and our pages load no scripts from other companies.
- Your browser’s local storage keeps your cart, on your device. That is all the website needs to work.
- Our fonts and images are served from our own website. Your browser does not contact any outside font or image service.
- Once online payment opens, the payment form of a third-party payment processor may use its own strictly necessary cookies, to process your payment and to detect fraud.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files that a website keeps in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website remember information on your device. Unlike cookies, what we keep in local storage is not sent to our servers with each page request.
What we keep in your browser
| Item | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Cart (local storage, under the name sanpo_cart_v1) | Remembers the products in your cart, with the color, the size and the quantity of each, as you move from page to page. It holds no name, e-mail, address or payment details. It is strictly necessary for the cart you use. | Until you empty your cart or clear this site’s data in your browser |
The cart is the only thing this website keeps in your browser: it stays on your device, holds no personal or payment details, and is used only to make the website work. It is never used for advertising or analytics. Your cart contents are used only to show your cart and, when you go to checkout, to prepare your order summary.
Our hosting provider
This website is hosted by a company based in the United States. Like any web server, its servers automatically receive and log technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs only to run and fix the website and to stop abuse of it. In rare cases, such as during an attack on the site, our hosting provider may place a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie to check that visitors are real people. It is not used for advertising or analytics.
The payment form
Online payment on this website is not open yet. Once it opens, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Its payment form may use strictly necessary cookies, placed by the processor, to process your payment, remember the payment step while you complete it, and detect and stop fraud. We do not use them for advertising, and we receive nothing from them but the result of your payment. The processor’s own privacy and cookie notices, linked from its payment form, explain them.
What we do not use
- No analytics or audience measurement tools.
- No advertising, retargeting or social media pixels.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
- No browser fingerprinting.
- No scripts from other companies on our pages, apart from the payment processor’s payment form at checkout once online payment opens.
So no other company can follow what you look at on our website, including which products and colors you look at.
How to clear it
- You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser’s privacy options, usually under Privacy, then Site data or Website data. Clearing this site’s data empties your cart.
- In a private or incognito window, your cart is forgotten when you close the window.
- If you block local storage for this site, you can still browse, but your cart will not be remembered.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because we do not track you across websites, our website works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. See our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
If we ever want to add analytics or advertising tools, such as a social media pixel, we will update this policy and our Privacy Policy first. Before any such tool is switched on, we will add a way for you to accept or refuse it where the law requires one, and an opt-out link wherever US state law requires one.
